.) What are your qualifications? Bruce Hearon is an investment advisor representative. He is licensed with the Florida Department of Financial Services. He was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of American Heritage Estate Services, an estate planning company. For the past fourteen years he has served as President/CEO of his own independent financial firm, Hearon Advisory Group.
.) What experience do you have? Bruce Hearon has 18 years in the financial services industry. He is Series 65 licensed, and is an investment advisor representative for Holland Advisory Services, Inc., a registered investment advisory firm. He also has a Florida life and health insurance license.
.) How do you conduct business? We market through ongoing educational seminars to pre-retirees, and those already retired on the importance of having a sound financial plan that is suitable for their specific needs.
.) What do you recommend? We focus on principal preservation and income generating strategies. We base all of our recommendations on each individual’s financial goals and needs.
.) How do you get paid? We get paid in either of two ways. As an investment advisor representative of Holland Advisory Services, Inc., a SEC registered firm, we manage investment accounts on a fee basis instead of receiving a commission for placing security transactions.
If we recommend an annuity or other insurance products, the insurance company will compensate us directly for each product sold. Clients do not pay compensation for these products.
.) Describe your typical client? We specialize in working with retirees and those about to retire. Most of our clients are between 60 and 85 years of age.
.) Who will be my advisor? Bruce uses a team of professionals at Holland Advisory Services, to include a Chartered Financial Analyst, and Certified Financial Planners™ to build and implement each financial plan.
.) What is your approach to financial planning? Our approach to financial planning is to understand the needs of our clients, and then determine whether or not their current investment strategies are meeting their needs. If they are, we then tell them so. If they are not, we will prepare a written recommendation that shows the changes that need to be made, and how the proposed plan can help them achieve their financial goals.
.) Have you ever been professionally disciplined? No
.) Can I have it in writing? Recommendations are made in writing. Brochures are provided for any investment or product recommendations.
